     The first step to your new entry door or complete entryway begins with a phone call, email or fax.   You will be surprised to learn that beautiful entryways are easy to order and a quality custom entryway is affordable for your home. 

     Emerald Doors' experienced sales representatives and designers can answer all your questions and guide you through the many options available.  When your entryway is completed it will be shipped directly to you.

     You can choose from one of our designs or our designers will work with you to design an entryway especially for your home.

    Emerald Doors does not just offer standard entry door designs in standard sizes.  Our designers learn what you want and listen to what you say.  Then they use their designing skills to create designs that reflect the things that are important to you and also sharing ideas from their many years of experience.  

Defining Your Project

     During your call or in answer to your fax or email, our representatives and designers will define your project and needs.  Their experience allows them to understand the type of design, materials and ideas you would like incorporated into your new front entry door or entryway.

     Every custom entry door or entryway starts with a clean sheet of paper and a fresh idea.  As each home and homeowner is unique, so should their entrance to their home.  Our clients are never just a number.  They design and build your entryway especially for you.  Your name and location is used throughout every aspect of your project.

   You will be pleased to find that there are many choices in styles, designs, sizes and options, making your entryway project unique and reflecting your personal style and taste.  They also work closely with your architect, builder or interior designer.

     The process is interactive and collaborative.  Their goal is to hear "Yes, that is exactly what I want".  Once you have chosen the type of front entry door or entryway you want, they will provide you with a quotation for your entryway project.  The quotation will list various options for the Elegant details that are available for your specific project, allowing you to choose the ones that fit your needs and budget.  It is all in the details!

Ordering

    Once a budget is established for your project Emerald Doors' designers will produce a detailed production design showing all the Elegant intricate details of your project.  Designs can be viewed at our showroom, email, fax or mail.  Free wood stain color and glass samples are sent directly to you so you can compare the choices available at your leisure and on site.

   Designs using our standard door and sidelight styles and wood front entry doors with beveled, stained and other decorative glass designs are produced at no charge.  Custom entry door designs are produced at no charge for preliminary drawings, and a small design fee is charged for multiple revisions.   Emerald Doors can provide your contractor with plans for the rough opening size for new construction or design your entry to fit an existing opening.

   They will review all the choices you have made such as wood type, door trim options, stain color choices, finishes, glass and bevel choices, along with entry door knob styles and finish.  The completed design is then sent to you for final approval.  Once you are satisfied with the design and chosen all the details they begin production.

    A deposit of 50% is required on custom entry door projects.  Please keep in mind that they need all of your choices for your project for our designers to prepare production drawings and prior to production scheduling so as not to delay your entryway project. 

    The production lead time needed to custom build your door or entryway project starts at the time we receive all of your choices.  Our normal lead time is 5-9 weeks depending on how many orders are received in a particular week.   Large entryways with customized details may take slightly longer.

Custom Made Especially For You

     After approval your production drawing and all of your color and design choices have been confirmed your entry door project is added to our production schedule.

    Emerald Doors builds your custom entry door or entryway to your specifications.  As work on your project proceeds we will keep you updated on the progress and estimated delivery or shipping date.   

Shipping & Crating

   Emerald Doors will ship your completed entryway directly to your home or new construction location.  They charge you the actual freight charges for shipping taking advantage of our 70% shipping discounts. 

     Out of state clients are not charged sales tax which normally is about the same as shipping and crating.  Custom wood frame crates are made specifically for your project providing ultimate protection.  They carefully pack each item.  We offer hand delivery in our immediate service area. 

      Emerald Doors' craftsmen are available to answer any questions you or your contractor may have concerning installation and they provide detailed installation instructions with your entryway.
