Mortise & Tenon Joinery
The strongest
joint in wood working. Joins the wood structure of our
custom wood doors.
This method
is superior to cope & stick or doweled joinery.
Door & Sidelight
Panels
Double floating wooden door
panels allow for the difference in temperature that
is present between the interior and exterior of your
home.
Emerald
Doors
goes one step further and seal or prime the backs of
your door and sidelight panels prior to putting them
into your exterior wood doors.
They
also stain the fronts of the panels if they are finishing
an exterior door or sidelight so all surfaces and edges are sealed.
Applied Trims
Emerald Doors makes all
of their own trims and casings for our custom wood
doors.
The same quality of wood
is used in your trims as in your exterior wood doors.
Joints are hand fitted and all nail holes are hand
filled and sanded.
Finishing
Multiple
coats of premium finishes are applied to our exterior
wood doors. Each piece is hand sand between each
coat to provide ultimate protection.
All
door knobs and hinges are cut prior to finishing
so all surfaces are sealed.
Free Touchup Kits
A
free touchup kit is included with all of the exterior
front doors we finish. Cans of the actual
finishes used on your custom entry doors are
included.
